Gary Steinhart
Partner, Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP
Gary Steinhart is a partner of Cassels Brock & Blackwell, LLP, a Toronto-based law firm with approximately 165 lawyers. He has a strong corporate/commercial practice with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, business reorganizations and financing transactions.
Mr. Steinhart’s experience is wide-ranging and includes representation of a number of health care and pharmaceutical companies, real estate-based operating businesses such as hotels and seniors’ facilities, and information technology companies. He is counsel for the Canadian units of several Multi-National Corporations, and has extensive experience in cross-border transactions. Mr. Steinhart has represented Momentum since 1993 and has been a member of the Board since December, 1999.
A graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School (LLB, 1979), Mr. Steinhart was called to the bar in 1981. He is currently the co-chair of the firm’s business law practice group and a member of the firm’s executive committee.
