Mike Cannata
Principal of BOCA Advisory Services Inc.

Mike Cannata is the principal of BOCA Advisory Services Inc. which through a partnership with
NW Patent Funding Corporation is an advisor to the Northwater Intellectual Property Fund. Mr.
Cannata has a proven track record as CEO with start-up and early stage technology companies.
In 1999, Mr. Cannata founded Brokercom Inc., a financial services software company and served
as its President & CEO until it was acquired by a large software company in 2002. From 1993 to
1998, Mr. Cannata was President of Cybermation Inc, a systems management software
company. Mr. Cannata has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from York University.
